Magnetic fixing
Hang baffles and islands from steel sheet, beams and steel structures without drilling. Rubber-jacketed neodymium magnets with an M6 thread: the gripper screws straight in. Installed in seconds and fully recoverable: leased offices, trade fairs, shops and industrial halls.
Why magnetic
Where it works
Yes
- Steel decking and trays
- Rolled steel beams and sections
- Steel metal ceilings
- Stand structures, shelving and steel furniture
No
- Aluminium and austenitic stainless steel
- Concrete, wood and plasterboard
- Sheet with insulation, film or thick paint between magnet and steel
- Suspensions exposed to vibration or impact
Kits
Rubber-jacketed magnets
Flat neodymium system with an M6 female bush, in white or black so it disappears against the ceiling.

How the load is rated
The force stated for a magnet is measured as a perpendicular pull on thick, clean, flat steel. On site those conditions are rarely met.
Every tenth of a millimetre of paint, dust or film between magnet and steel reduces the force.
On thin sheet the magnet cannot saturate the steel: the force drops far below the nominal value.
If the cable pulls at an angle the magnet tends to slide: lateral resistance is a fraction of the perpendicular force. Rubber helps, but the cable must hang vertically.
That is why the Dsuspend working load is at most 1/5 of the force measured on the actual site. Figures for each magnet will be published after testing in our laboratory.
Safety cable
A side impact can release a magnet. Above walkways, every panel also needs a safety cable to an independent point. We help you specify it.
Installation
Steel pot magnets
For beams and structures where the finish does not matter. Other versions (hook, eye, threaded stud) on request.
